Kindness Matters

Our School Life team has a common goal of spreading positivity and kindness every day. Our School Life team practices random acts of kindness throughout the year, so we wanted to share some of the creative things our team members did this February during kindness week. Also, this past week, we gave a few customers $25 gift cards to enjoy their favorite latte on us. And we asked that they pay it forward by continuing to pay for the drinks of those behind them until the funds on the gift card were depleted. We look forward to hearing about all the good feels that our customers got and gave while participating in this little random act of kindness. School Life is a family business built by educators for educators. We all take great pride in helping with the development and overall betterment of today’s youth. Educators are our heroes and we are honored to partner with you. Together we can spread peace, unity and kindness.
Love,
Team School Life

I have two wonderful coworkers that are special to me. I wanted them to have an extra special Tuesday morning after our 3 day weekend. I got them their favorite drinks and yummy banana bread. They loved their treat and I loved mine, too! Thanks again!! School Life is the best!!!

I had it printed and mounted on foam core so it can sit on an easel in her room. We are having all of her friends sign it before we deliver it so she knows everyone loves and supports her! XOXO

posted on Saturday, February 19, 2022 9:27:20 AM America/Los_AngelesThank you for the Starbucks card! My school district and my kids’ school district both had snow days today so I took my daughter to pay it forward! We went inside our local Starbucks and left the gift card with the lady at the counter to pay for the next few people. While we were waiting for our drinks, we could witness the joy on the customers’ faces who had their drinks paid for. One older lady who was by herself just couldn’t stop smiling. What an awesome lesson for my teen and just an all around feel good experience! My daughter was excited to be a part of the #maddymatters movement as well. Maddy was one of the four children who lost their lives by an act of senseless violence at my son’s school, Oxford High School in Michigan. Her grandma has encouraged random acts of kindness in her honor by documenting good deeds with the hashtag #maddymatters. We are Oxford StrOng and will not let the shooting on November 30, 2021 define who we are!!
